Ah no, sorry, that’s Bob’s inserters. Forgot that I had that configured that way. It also allows for stupid shit like 90o inserters
No it’s used because the swing rate is higher, and this is at the start of a run, before stack upgrades

I recently flipped to apple music and apart from seeing a few songs missing on albums i don’t really listen to anyway, it’s only been an improvement. the lossless audio is quite nice
