  • Hey there!

    Some games that we played:

    • Overcooked 1 & 2, save the world by cooking in absurd environments. Shouting inclusive. (It’s really fun, I promise!)
    • Ibb & Obb - a fun little puzzle game
    • Guacamelee was fun too, but we never finished it.
    • Battleblock Theater is nice too! But I’m not sure if it’s possible to play on one machine. So if you both have computers this is definitely possible.
    • Unravel Two - it’s fun! We haven’t finished it yet, but it’s a cute (and a bit sad sometimes) jump & run / puzzle platformer
    • A Way Out was great too, really great story, but it’s not cozy.
    • … and I noticed a lot of people gave you already some good games, while I was searching my library. xD

What I haven’t tried yet but want to in the future:

    • Moving Out - it looks similar to Overcooked, so I hope it will be fun
    • Spiritfarer

  • Hi! :)

Like so many others, I came from Reddit and I’m gonna stay here. It’s nice.

I’m somewhere between 30 and 40, a writer and full time nerd from Germany, I stream and game, I paint and draw and I have two wonderful cats. I like pen & paper rpgs, games in general (except horror), reading, knitting, crocheting, animals, manga, comics, music and listening to the same song on repeat. Also, I probably forgot something.

    Thanks for having me here!

  • A little late to the party, maybe you’ve found your game already and I’m not sure if this is what you search for, but what I did, while writing my master’s thesis, was playing Stardew Valley.

It’s cozy for the most part. The game auto saves after you finish an ingame day (it saves when you wake up the next morning if I remember correctly). Days were for me roughly 15-25 minutes, depending on how far I was in the game.

So what I did was play a day in Stardew Valley, then write my thesis for a while, play another day, write my thesis, play two days, write my thesis and so on. (I admit, there were days where I played more, but hey, I finished my thesis!)

    Good luck with your studies!
