If anyone wants to understand the pain of fissile uranium production, play factorio. Gives you a little tiny fraction of what it’s like to produce enough fuel for a powerplant. You need a lot more for a bomb.
woah holy shit a bio?

So, maybe this is hindsight, but why were battery inspections and storage in the same location? If the batteries failed inspection (which I’m guessing the exploding ones would have, or at least do now) they should be kept separately from known good batteries right?
No, it gives your children the ability to increase cholesterol levels without poor diet
Wait wait wait wait.
How did you end up getting tear gassed in the military? How did you end up getting tased in the military? Why? Who would think that was useful or necessary?
I have done this with both, and honestly, the resin miniatures, while impressive, are a fuckload of work to remove the supports from, clean, cure, and dispose of the uncured resin and prep for the next plate. The hazard they present isn’t terribly noticeable until it is. Ventilation is probably necessary for all 3D printers, but unless you have outdoor or purpose built external venting, resin will bother you eventually.
As for FDM, you can do it, but it will never reach resin detail. On a 0.2mm nozzle, for instance it would clog too much, or print too slow and something would end up interfering with the print. A 0.4mm does alright, but you’ll want to do some abrasive finishing and some thicker layers of primer.
It also depends on your plastic, how much you are willing to tweak your printer, etc. unfortunately, unlike resin, once you dial in the settings you will have to monitor it as the plastic absorbs moisture, the extruder and other gears wear down ever so slightly. Ambient temperature will affect how well layers stick, and slight breezes will be noticable.
I see a Helldiver I up vote.
For Liberty!
But on a serious note, something as obvious as “Managed Democracy” and quitting your job by signing up for “Early Biovat Reprocessing” and the characters literally saying things like “HELLDIVERS NEVER DIE!” Before being obliterated by a 380? It’s satire. Satire is funny. Like hahaha look at stupid Facist regime, I’ll role play along to get into the mood of the game because the idea is so fucking dumb it’s funny with amazing gameplay.
It’s willful ignorance at some point. I don’t think media literacy has much to do with it. It’s simply listening for what they want to hear, then ignoring the rest, just as real facists desire.
The only thing I can explain how uncomfortable this is to read is that it’s like trying to imagine scraping your nails on a old timey chalkboard
To be honest, that seems harder than dating
Hah, as if you’d ever see the icons behind the millions of things I have running
Shields and lasguns were available to a significant number of fighters. If you were able to accurately hit a shield with a lasgun, you were probably within the blast radius too.
It’s almost like Nazis were naturally unkind people.
Look, I’m just saying I’d enjoy the fireworks, better than dying of radiation sickness
From memory it was anything with an exposed heat source or high wattage- Toaster, hot plate, personal space heater, microwave, toaster oven, hair dryer, fondue fountain are what come from my memory. (At our desks mind you)
We had at least 3 microwaves in our floors break room, a few toasters, fridges, etc. Thinking about it, it was less about disturbing others or personal injury and more about fire hazards.
My employer had a policy written for this scenario and warned office workers about non- approved appliances in our cubicles. Anything to cook/heat was spelled out, several examples given. But never an electric griddle, which to me should sort of be the first thing that comes to mind
Saving what, exactly? The problem is that people arent able to maintain a standard of living, meaning they can’t certainly can’t save.
Or in simpler terms, things are becoming so expensive that they are forced to decrease their standard of living to meet their needs. This isn’t a personal finance issue.
I went from 280-210 with it. Then I couldnt get it filled and started emotionally eating because of my ex and I’m back at 270. Doc will start me on Wegovy next, but these damn drug are going to save so many lives.
Not only does it help you lose weight, it helps you eat healthier. Like, shit, it’s perfect.
How do I unread that last sentence
No, no, no. This prevents uncontrolled loss of ships. See, now, they can control which boats get sunk by USVs and which boats are safe.
Oh oh oh I know this one!
Glory! The civil war film! There’s a scene where a union soldier takes a cannon ball to the head and it explodes in a gory mess. It was during a tour to Gettysburg, and I threw up on the bus after seeing it. Then they brilliantly played the Mel Gibson Patriot movie where a revolutionary also takes a cannon ball to the head, only this time it removes the head in slow motion and more detaches it than blows it to head smoothie
And then there’s me. Who has been with one woman, who was actually appalled by the whole attachment thing, but controlled so much of my life that I became permanently awkward, uncomfortable AND stuck with super low self esteem.
I don’t know if I suck at sex, or just suck in general. If I survive this divorce I’ll take that win right now.
