Problem is that most western democracies rely on those cheap migrants worker to fill most jobs that locals do not want to fill anymore
WRONG.
It’s supposed to be a market economy, if someone doesn’t want to do the job for an advertised rate you’re supposed to increase the rate until it becomes palatable.
Not import people to artificially keep wages and living conditions down for the working class.
So yeah, if you want cities filled with garbages, amazon packages that takes weeks to arrive, among other. Go on. Kick them all out.
If you want living conditions to continue to get worse and wages to spiral downwards until food completely unaffordable, keep importing people to keep the wages down, like you suggest.
Cyberpunk Intensifies.
How long until the President is also the sitting CEO of Raytheon or Blackwater?
oh no… anyway.
This is good, I support Israel against aggression, but the the ultra-orthodox want the aggression, they’re as bad as Hamas and Hezbollah.
Indirectly they are, since they’re multistory buildings.
RIP to the top floor.
You’re not wrong, but if you’re setting to 26c and still need a fan, you should just set it lower.
I personally run 27c in summer and don’t need an additional fan.
It’s not exactly hot either though, after being in 35+c sun, it’s pretty chill.
For reference, my aircon is set to 27c in summer (still comfortable, but cost effective) and 18c in winter (WHO minimum recommended house temp, any less is a health hazard - also for cost effectiveness - electricity is expensive)
humidity shouldnt be a problem with modern ventilation
‘Modern ventilation’ is out since Covid, can’t have big shared ventilation systems anymore, too dangerous.
the Athletes’ Village will be cooled by a system of water pipes running beneath the floorboards.
Cool, like underfloor heating but in reverse. If it works well, of course.
Officials aim to keep the rooms at between 73 to 79 degrees Fahrenheit
Nice 26c is fine.
Officials … will also provide fans.
oh, so it doesn’t work…
How much more growth could Twitter have anyway?
Anyone who was interested either had one or had sworn it off well before Musk got involved.
The only thing that changed for me personally was I could previously see tweets from people without having an account, now I can’t, so I don’t click on twitter links at all. All of the businesses and public services previously announcing things on Twitter do it elsewhere now anyway for that reason.
When you drive by a billboard on the highway, is it invading your privacy?
Possibly?
Let me rephrase it a little- When you walk past a digital advertising screen at a Westfield Shopping Centre - is it invading your privacy? (The answer is a definite YES, they have facial tracking and keep metrics on where you go in the mall, how long you loiter in certain locations, what stores you go, whether you came back out with bags, etc)
Or just move, they’re in the Schengen zone so the rest of the EU is open to them.
The Greek Exodus begins…
Are you implying that Hezbollah and Iran threatening to attack Israel is Israel and Joe Biden’s fault?
Cathedral always was the losing team.

The whole article can be boiled down to ‘America bad, Europe Good!’
The problem with that, is now “every tool at their disposal to stop trump” is an object lesson in exactly what Biden is talking about.
‘Every tool’ means Every tool
