and local elections. take a cue from the wingnut playbook where they’ve taken over school boards, for example, and push 'em further left.
I believe the vote counts, yes.
primary voters vote for the candidate. party elites might have their horse but if the voters go another way, then their horse still loses the race despite the advantage. an outsider candidate could win if they have the votes.

I guess my point is don’t leave out the factor of socialization. socialization would affect to what degree a person can get violent and for what reasons. and human behavior is so complex that a single factor, like generalized prehistoric gender roles, cannot be dominant so I wouldn’t assume that hunter/gatherer gender roles are to explain for everything relative to how men and women behave now.
interesting point of view. but I think you’re making many assumptions here about gender roles and tendencies both today and in pre history. for example: https://ucalgary.ca/news/women-were-successful-big-game-hunters-challenging-beliefs-about-ancient-gender-roles. I’ve also encountered women who are violent as fuck which I’m assuming comes from socialization.
billy corgan, twice. total dick once, nice the other time. dan aykroyd bought us a shot. ray manzarek of the doors had a strong presence and was direct but polite. chuck palahniuk at a book signing, funny but no opinion either way. john waters was kind and weird, exactly what you’d expect. al jourgensen didn’t say much and looked terrible. I corresponded via email with terrence mckenna and he was very kind.
