There has to be an unending vigilance, not just a fight because fights end. Older generations fought for workers rights with unions and their kids lazily let it slide away. Governments can make laws and rules to protect workers but those can be changed or weakened without vigilance. A good government official can help and their successor strip it away. Workers only strength is together. Collective action is the way but it’s a perpetual action.

Money existed before capitalism. Capitalism started in the 1700s. Money far predates capitalism. Plus, my comment is that capitalism must be regulated by outside regulators like governments. Conservatives have pushed deregulation forever and it’s made things worse. Capitalism worked far better in the heavy regulation days after WW2.

China is authoritarian capitalism with communism for their under classes. They are the worlds 2nd largest economy. Their capitalist practices are just as, if not more reckless than Americas. EDIT: I was being dramatic to prove a point. Restaurants run skeleton crews all the time to push profitability. Obviously they give it some consideration, but it’s rarely for the workers well being.
