GN Linux distro when? 😄
Gotta seed the original.
Yes, pretty much.
It really depends on your country and ISP.
Yeah you only have Conservatives to choose from. It sucks.
Yup :(
I don’t envy you Americans. Here in Canada we have our own set of idiots too and it almost always boils down to voting for the least worst person :(
Sometimes I don’t. 😐
Yes, AMD was replacing Ryzens that had that bug. I’m not sure if they are anymore though. But it’s 100% a confirmed thing. I have not heard anything Zen 2 and newer having this problem and have no experienced any Linux issues with my 3000, 5000 and 7000 series CPUs.
I never managed to fix this bug with my first gen Ryzens. Worth upgrading to something newer for sure.
Yeah First Gen Ryzens definitely had a Linux lock up bug. My x1700 had it all the time and could never fix it.
Worth a shot to at least see if it has stuff you’re looking for
I think the point a lot of people are making is that because it’s a fresh install it might have been quicker and faster to just reinstall versus whatever kind of checking and troubleshooting you’d have to do with the permissions.
That sucks.
I don’t use torrents much.
Have you considered checking out Usenet + Indexer?
Greed. It’s always pure unfiltered greed.
Not on your instance but good luck!
First time in a while I’ve been excited for a Linux release. Can’t wait to install this on my gaming laptop. Pop!_OS has been a favorite of mine for gaming laptops for a while now.
Nothing else comes as close to being “out of the box perfect”. All the FN keys work, fan control works even on ASUS (a lot of them have proprietary controllers), etc.
🤢🤮
This is the right answer.
What are you studying OP?
My opinion has been to install PopOS on all my laptops. It’s consistently needed the least amount of fixing to get things like fan curves, or keyboard backlights, etc working
Arch in desktop.
Who would have thought this would be a hell of a presumption in this day and age
