My Prius has this. It literally just runs a small fan in the summer to keep the interior/batteries cool.

I’ve been 100% Linux for almost 8 years now and a fairly heavy gamer. There’s a handful of games with online anticheat stuff that devs refuse to make compatible, but beyond that it’s almost always click install and play in Steam even for stuff that isn’t “compatible”.

I feel attacked.

And if it annoys you enough it’s one line in your config to fix forever. I love i3 so much.

Upon being handed a busted Quest 2 that indeed caught fire, I’ve found a lot of folks online that have had that very issue lol.

Unrelated, I fixed it and noe need VR game suggestions as this realm is the shit.

I had like 2 issues that took literal minutes to fix over the years I ran Manjaro, I know there were some silly misconfigurations years ago but I never paid much attention then the hate and it ran all my stuff just fine. 🤷‍♂️

Built a new rig a few weeks ago and decided to check out EndeavorOS, but would have stuck with that Manjaro install for a while if I hadn’t.

To be fair to manufacturers for once here, this kind of this is usually due to users not properly securing these systems. The industry is still way behind on proper infosec but they’ve come a long way the last 10 years or so.

I just got back into H3 a week or two ago and was caught off guard by the install size! Last time I installed 2 I had to disable a ton of map DLCs and rotate em out as I went to not take up most of the storage on my Steam Deck SD card.

They did an amazing job on streamlining things.

Drives me a lil nuts that when something important like this is made and it gets exclusively stuck on one streaming platform.

I guess it cuts the attack surface profile down a bit?

My groups new obsession is Vintage Story. Set up a server and we’ve collectively put in hundreds of hours over the last few months.
