Don’t disagree, it’s just fascinating to see it all play out.
Omg! I feel like that is happening with my Alexa device recently… I thought it was me, but this comment is making me wonder.
It’s interesting how ahead their government is with some things and behind it is with others (generally speaking they have a lot of crime in their larger cities).
I remember overclocking mine so that it was smooth lol. Was great.
Me too. Loved that thing. I remember when I was able to truly multitask and switch applications seamlessly. It was great. I still feel like iOS and android don’t switch between apps as smoothly as I was able to do on my pre.
A Tolkien based active community would be great. Reddit had/has a few that were fairly active. There are communities here but really not active at all.
Also wish the NBA community was more active - quite frankly surprised it’s not.
Took me a minute to figure out exactly what this even was. This is pretty cool. Had no idea such tech existed.
True. Volvo itself is fairly fancy … At least they have a lot of the nicer, more luxurious models. I just sort of think of them like I listed since they’re more rare.
It’s
Lexus for Toyota
Acura for Honda
Jaguar for Ford
Etc.
Just something to note: used car sales have had significantly more volume than new car sales for at least 30 years (possibly longer) so that particular point isn’t as relevant to the new car pricing.
I’m fucking laughing out loud reading this comment.
I would highly recommend having the atlas of middle earth with you when you read it. It’s how I did it recently and it was a pretty incredible experience.
The audiobook names are mispronounced at times, but I generally understand the sentiment here.
Good luck! I think you’re asking too much TBH.
Right. I doubt we see the exact same behavior with cars, especially in today’s world where all cars are more expensive than they were just 4 or so years ago. That said, I do expect EV prices to come down. I can hate on auto makers for being slow to the game all I want, but the reality is they won’t do it if they don’t think they can turn a profit. It seems like it’s coming just a lot slower than some would like.
That’s awesome. So there are in fact low cost options then.
But isn’t this true with any “new” technology? The beginning of the timeline has high cost and as the product becomes “normal” costs come down?
Hyundai has the electric kona that fits that description for the most part.
I work in analytics. I usually enjoy the work. It’s fun showing people insightful things, but it can be a drag when folks don’t listen.
