Looking at that visualisation of a trillion really puts it into perspective when an extra $20 note can change my whole week
I agree. It’s around $22 NZD and that is just too steep. They have a slightly cheaper one but you can’t background play with it. I’m sick of being nickel and dimed at every possible opportunity and then hearing about how these companies are making record profits.

It’s like the tale of the scorpion and the frog. We’re battling built in tribal tendencies and people seem to expect that to all just go away because it’s upsetting but if you look at the big picture things are steadily improving for tolerance

Same here, the best of this place feels like sorting by new on reddit. I really want to see it succeed because of the break away from corporations and into open source but it just doesn’t have the numbers or the content yet I guess. I don’t really wanna go back to reddit but staring at your phone is a hard habit to break
