Surprising as new hardware hasn’t had a floppy disk drive for years and old equipment is probably running a non supported operating system which is totally vulnerable.

It depends on what the publishers publish for. If it’s money then Peertube is probably not attractive.
Most of everyone else would agree that it is a lack of political will.
There are ads on the radio in Perth that are spruiking how essential methane is to industry. What’s most annoying is no mention of the devastating effects on the climate crisis. Greenwashing at its finest.
Here I am, surprised that the US has troops in Chad.
Interesting to see authoritarian and libertarian as opposites given the GOP behaviour.
I suppose that once you have laws that allow blocking one type of site then other sites will be pretty easy to be added. A precedent sort of thing. Done once then others will follow.
Pretty amazing that piracy is such a hot topic such that freedoms can be curtailed but everyone’s right to an AR15 must be protected.
Sounds like more shooting between Chinese and Indian soldiers with little to show for it.
Ahh, Mike Johnson and the Russian GOP.
Because Russia is so good at it and effectively does it all the time as well as it being doctrine.
Given that Russian doctrine is all about disinformation and deflection, is he actually worth listening to until there is something on the table?

View it from their perspective, they all converse perfectly together because that’s how everyone told the time however other people want to change the rules. They aren’t being rude or impolite just using the system they grew up with.
Just different and from a different school of thought. If you consider the convenience of conveying how close the time is to the hour, it’s actually a quick shorthand. I can see you don’t like it however it’s just the way people think of time. It’s not like they can’t do the math because if they have a digital clock they have to convert 9:45 into a quarter to 10. It’s the way they think about time.
No it means that they grew up using a 12 hour, 60 minute circular time system. Habits form when you learn stuff and can last a lifetime.
When it comes to faxes, doctors and lawyers seem to be the main supporters in Australia. They have secure messaging available but cling to the insecure and antiquated fax. I’ve integrated fax into medical practice management apps and they thought it was such a step forward (after a while).
