Amusing? No. Dismay is more I’d say. It’s reverberated across the pond here and our politicians have been doing very similar stuff and getting away with it.
From the outside the whole thing seemed to be an absolute circus act. People getting increasingly polarised, constant (pretty much daily) news about something fucking stupid he’s either said, done or something disgusting one of his cronies had been involved in.
I think it depends on the company, I work at a software company and you’ll regularly see the big boss playing pool with staff at random times of the day. A bit of non work time during the work day can help the brain come up with solutions to problems.
Whenever one of my closest friends (early 30s) needs help it’s like helping my grandparents.
