parallel thought I guess!
I’d love to check out what you came up with if you have the files up somewhere!

I am like a lost 4 year old in blender, fusion 360 is more my jam
Profit avg is probably 400.
Material cost is about $1 for a phone case, sells for $25.
CAD cost per sale is very low. I have learned to make my CAD workflow way better after doing all these cases. Now I have a plan ahead of time and not a mile-long timeline in Fusion lol.
If you are comfortable editing GCode then the Chameleon is a good choice, if not the A1 combo looks really compelling. I was torn between the two, but already have 3 printers.
I think the Prusa XL is the best option right now, but the price is crazy high
one of the best 3DP creators out there! I love how he tries to be as scientific as possible and get real answers. There is a lot of bro-science out there and it’s refreshing to have concrete results to go off.
There is another option you haven’t explored. 3dChameleon
This allows you to turn any machine into a 4 material capable printer. It is not plug-and-play, but if you already have a printer it’s cheaper than getting a whole dedicated machine ($180).
It can do flexibles too, which I didnt expect it to be able to do. Working on making phone cases with TPU inside and PLA outside.
There is an update coming in April that will make it way easier to configure, with sensor-less detection of filament position.
If you want something that works perfectly out of the box I’d go with A1 combo from Bambu Labs though. The Chameleon takes a little tinkering to get working
Learn CAD my guy! No asking for permission if you made the design!
I make between $500 and $1k a month in profit selling my original designs. 3D Printing is so much more rewarding when you can turn ideas into products instead of finding files people made
I love the 2-tone look!
I had made a tray for myself a while back but my smoking habits change so frequently between dabs, bong, joints, and vaping.
Might have to revisit this now that I’m not a complete CAD noob
Phones are so powerful these days too. Plus I can game for 6 hours on my phone straight, try that on a steam deck lol.
120hz top-of-the-line OLED, really nice speakers, and it’s not another device to charge and carry with you.
Also, using my Fold with the Junglecat controllers + my case is like having a giant screen steam-deck that can fit in my pocket. no comparison IMO
😂
I run a small online store and make between $400 and $1,000 a month in profit.
I sell specialty phone cases that connects Razer jungle cat controllers like a switch. Also Galaxy fold cases that hold the new s pen. Other stuff too

Spotify has the lyrics for many songs and it will highlight the lyrics that are being sung.
It’s not the same as karaoke but pretty close
$20 at Walmart! I’m kicking myself for casting from my phone for so many years. Android TV is objectively better and you can still cast to it
Combine it with sonarr, radar, jackett and qBitTorrent and it’s incredibly easy to get a new show or movie
I feel like a wizard being able to add a movie to jellyfin for my mom in minutes
Also love that new episodes auto download!
The Android TV one is really good IMO
Amazon when I got mine, always check the other seller options sometimes they hide better deals
I actually make junglecat cases for the Samsung z fold series!
I plan to make more for other phones too.
I sell my stls and prints https://frogcase.store/products/z-fold-3-junglecat-controller-case
These controllers are super cheap since the 3 phones it works with are so old now. You can get them for like $30!
Exactly, playing on people’s ignorance like current talk show on-the-street segments do. The joke was not that they thought women shouldn’t be able to vote… It is just humorous to hear people say they are anti-sufferage not understanding what theyre saying.
It’s like asking people if they are afraid of dihydrogen monoxide in their water…
You can usually just add the plain controller rails to any working phone case.
I found a design that worked well, redesigned it to be better and added the controller rails.
I think the rail files are on thingiverse
